EVALUATION OF PIXEL SELECTION METHODS FOR TRAFFIC INFRASTRUCTURE MONITORING USING SENTINEL-1 INSAR

چکیده
Abstract. The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite Sentinel-1 provides excellent traffic infrastructure monitoring capabilities due to its short revisit time, wide-scale coverage and free of charge data policy. However, pixels from have a medium spatial resolution so that is only covered by few pixels. Moreover, Interferometric (InSAR) yields deformation time series for coherent only, thus limiting the number reporting ground motion at infrastructure. Although various InSAR methods been successfully applied monitoring, selection appropriate achieving high pixel density has not yet evaluated. In this study, we test whether can improve combining different methods. On one hand, widely used Stanford Method Persistent Scatterers (StaMPS) as baseline method retrieve series. other enhanced phase quality in pre-processing step using Phase-Linking (PL) approach afterwards estimated also with StaMPS based on selected PL. We compared evaluated achieved densities both main roads, highways railways study area Germany. found complementary sets all types. results indicate great potential railway homogeneous distribution Interestingly, scatterers were observed coincide large signs which show double-bounce scattering amplitude images. This shows benefits PL increased confirms suitable source monitoring.

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Deformation monitoring using Sentinel-1 SAR data
This paper describes the data processing and analysis procedure implemented by the authors to analyse Sentinel-1 data. The procedure is an advanced Differential Interferometric SAR (DInSAR) technique that generates deformation maps and time series of deformation from multiple SAR images acquired over the same site. The second part of the paper illustrates the results of the procedure. The first...

In this study, the capabilities of Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) time series data and machine learning have been evaluated for land cover mapping in Iran. In this way, a time series of Sentinel-1 SAR data (including 16 SLC images with approximately 24 days time interval) from 2018 to 2020 were used for a region of Ahvaz County located in Khuzestan province. Using InSAR proces...
